A place to explore together

First Morning is an original, guided story with reading, science, mathematics, and optional making projects. The Almost-Right Café offers a continuing make-believe restaurant game with silly ingredients. The Number Garden remains available for a little math exploration. This prototype notices individual tasks. It does not assign a grade, diagnose a difficulty, or decide class placement.

Guide and character choices, post office deliveries, workshop comparisons, science visits, café orders, gathering trips and jar stock, story visits, and progress stay in this browser on this device. You can turn saved progress off in Grown-up notes.

There are no ads, analytics, recordings, or AI conversations. No names, ages, grades, photos, or uploaded work are requested.

Optional read-aloud uses only a browser-reported local English or French voice matched to the passage; if none is available, read together. It never requests a microphone or uses an external speech service.

Project invitations are unscored. The app cannot check work done away from the screen.

Optional dialogue, messages, reading notes and explanations you choose to write also stay local under your save settings and are included in notes downloads; those downloads may contain personal writing. Downloaded notes are yours to keep. Hosting still processes ordinary page requests.

Science trips can open Marble’s water simulator in another tab. No garden answers or learner records are sent with the link. Marble runs that external page separately; you can also stay here with our original explanation pictures.

The grown-up view is an ordinary tab, not a password-protected area. Use the site together.
